In March 2026, I had the pleasure of participating in Artist Project, Canada’s premier fair for contemporary independent artists, held at the Enercare Centre in Toronto. The fair brought together over 300 artists, creating a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere where visitors could explore a wide spectrum of color, form, and creative expression.
I debuted my most recent ink paintings at the show, using the fair as a platform to introduce this new work to collectors and the public. It was an incredible opportunity to share the work, meet collectors—both new and returning—and begin conversations that will shape future collaborations and exhibitions.
At my booth, I showed a selection of black-and-white ink paintings alongside pieces where I introduced natural pigments made from nuts, berries, and blooms gathered on my walks in the ravine and forest. These works bring subtle color, energy, and depth, reflecting the rhythms and textures of the natural world.
The fair was an inspiring, fast-paced experience, offering the chance to connect directly with collectors and share insights into my process. Seeing how the work resonated in real time highlighted the value of presenting art in person.
Participating in Artist Project was a meaningful opportunity to introduce my paintings to new audiences, foster conversations, and engage with the broader community of contemporary independent artists.
